I'm going to try a new recipe tonight (in order to be ready for breakfast tomorrow morning) for Oatmeal Breakfast Bars. I'll let you know how it goes.
Oh, and I just found out that I am getting five pounds of cherries tomorrow from our fruit share. Maybe I should go buy a pitter.

The Beginning
Since I don't have enough to do, I thought that I would start another blog.
This blog is devoted to one of the loves of my life, food. I'm struggling with the label, but I think that I am what is called a "foodie." I love food. I love to eat it. I love to talk about it. I love to buy it. I love to cook it. I love to read about it. I love to grow it. I love to preserve it.
My intention is to write some of my daily thoughts about food since it is such a big part of my life. Maybe I'll post a recipe. Maybe I'll just write about what we had (or didn't have) for dinner. Maybe I'll talk about a website or cookbook I like. Maybe I'll gush about our local farmers market and vegetable/fruit share. The possibilities are endless.
